Your role

Are you experienced at assessing business growth opportunities and using strong problem-solving skills to bring structure to complex situations? Do you enjoy engaging with a variety of stakeholders to find common solutions and drive consistent execution?

We are looking for an individual to lead our GWM US Channel and Prospecting Office:
• Holistically drive the strategic development of our prospecting and feeder channel ecosystem to support GWM US achieve its long-term growth ambitions
• Provide strategic advice and implementation support to the Head of GWM US Business Development, division heads and broader management to help identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities to strengthen our prospecting and channel ecosystem
• Oversee the GWM US Channel and Prospecting Office to ensure a united, efficient, and data-driven approach to partnerships, lead generation, referral management, business intelligence, and growth initiatives across all feeder channels
• Manage multiple cross-functional projects against tight deadlines with discipline and attention to detail
• Drive team performance through active coaching, performance management and ongoing capability building to ensure consistent delivery against strategic priorities

Your team

You will be based in New York and lead the GWM US Channel and Prospecting Office, reporting directly to the Head of GWM US Business Development. You will work in close partnership with US GWM business leaders, as well as other divisional leaders across our IB and AM businesses. This is a unique opportunity to play a part in defining how our businesses will be scaled and transformed.

Your expertise
• ideally 15+ years professional experience, preferably within an in-house corporate development position (with a focus on financial services) or a top management consulting firm with significant background in third-party partnership development including stakeholder management, development of the project vision, structure, and narrative, and proven understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and commercial performance drivers
• Proven track record of developing strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and external firms to advance business objectives and accelerate growth
• Excellent business judgment with equal measures of strategic, tactical, and communications capabilities
• Knowledge of the industry landscape that supports prospecting, referral activity, and lead generation across the client acquisition ecosystem
• Knowledge of the US wealth management industry and the products and services provided to key market segments that UBS serves
• Strong coaching skills with demonstrated experience managing and developing motivated, resilient, high-productivity teams while maintaining a strong, positive team culture
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced degrees or qualifications a plus

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 200000 - max USD 275000 /annum
