UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Java Developer in Morrisville, NC

We're looking for an Associate Director, Java Developer to:
• Design, code, conduct code reviews, and testing software as needed. Develop code, implement client, server and web-based applications, web services and unit testing. Lead participation in application architecture and design and other phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and implement a robust set of web services and APIs to power web applications.
• Development of various application components. Implemented all the front-end components using Spring MVC. Lead the technical design of application components in concert with CTO, DISO (Divisional Information Security Office) & team leads.
• Drive and ensure code quality, monitoring & Observability, UT and SIT testing guidelines and procedures are met. Lead the adoption of Innovative technologies (like Open AI) to boost developer and QA productivity. Triage with global development teams and business stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Education & Experience Requirement:
• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience as a Java Developer, or a related occupation.

Position requires experience with the following:
• Agile and Scrum methodology; Agile tools such as JIRA and GitHub; CI tools such as TeamCity, Gradle, Jenkins and Nexus; MVC; Core Java; J2EE Design Patterns; RDBMS; Spring framework; WebSphere; Hibernate; XML; jQuery; Web service; REST services; Distributed streaming platform like Kafka; Development on Apache Tomcat; React; Azure Cloud; Generative AI technologies like Open AI; Business Stakeholder Management.

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary for this role is USD 145000 /annum in Raleigh, NC.
