Your role
Are you an experienced project manager looking for your next big challenge? Do you know what it takes to deliver complex regulatory or strategic front to back change in an Agile operating environment?
We're looking for someone like this to:
• manage the delivery of one (or more) Investment bank change projects, as part of a larger IB-wide strategic and/or regulatory change programs. Current programmes include Fundamental Review of the Trading Book, EU T+1 Settlement, Crypto Tax Regulations, US Treasury Clearing, Mifid II
• create and manage the project plan, agile budget, resources, risks, issues and delivery schedule
• lead a multidisciplinary team through the full project lifecycle
• develop strong relationships with all project stakeholders
• provide regular updates to senior management
• ensure that Run the Bank are kept informed and involved and able to take on their new responsibilities after go live
Your team
You will be working in the IB Change team in tri-state area. The IB Change team is part of the IB Chief Operating Office and works in partnership with the Business, Chief Data and Information Office and Group functions, and takes ownership to manage and deliver critical strategic and regulatory changes for the Investment Bank. The team is made up of approximately 80 dedicated program and project managers and business analysts and is focused on the delivery of critical strategic and regulatory change programs and projects that impact across multiple IB business areas and front to back functions.
Your expertise
• experience of project management and delivery in an Investment Bank (or consulting to Investment Banks)
• ability to build relationships across a global organization, build trust and influence others
• experienced in managing a team, and/or multiple indirect reports in a program structure
• experienced in multiple project delivery methodologies including waterfall and agile
• good analytical and problem solving skills, quick learner with good attention to detail
• ability to work under pressure, hit deadlines and manage to a budget
• experience of delivering regulatory projects and/or knowledge of the regulatory landscape would be an advantage
• aptitude for technology
Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York min USD 172500 - max USD 207500 /annum
