Job Summary
The Guidewire Architect will provide architecture and technical leadership for commercial insurance platforms, with a focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire Cloud Platform, and integrations across the broader insurance ecosystem. The role requires deep understanding of commercial insurance processes including underwriting, policy lifecycle, rating, endorsements, renewals, audits, and claims, along with expertise in submission intake modernization and integration architecture. The architect will design scalable solutions connecting Guidewire with CRM, broker systems, document repositories, pricing engines, appetite and eligibility services, finance, payments, and other enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and lead Guidewire architecture solutions supporting commercial insurance business processes.
• Apply extensive knowledge of underwriting, policy lifecycle, rating, endorsements, renewals, audits, and claims.
• Architect submission intake modernization solutions involving unstructured document ingestion, automated data extraction, classification, and routing to underwriters.
• Design and implement Guidewire PolicyCenter and Workbench solutions.
• Architect integrations between Guidewire and CRM, broker systems, document repositories, pricing engines, appetite and eligibility APIs, and other ecosystem applications.
• Develop integration architecture involving Guidewire with document, finance, payments, and related enterprise systems.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance for Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations and migration strategies.
• Design scalable integration architectures and support their implementation across interconnected enterprise applications.
