Responsibilities

  • Design and build Conduit's outbound engine from scratch as a permanent component, rather than a build-and-hand-off scenario.
  • Create and implement AI-native workflows for efficient pipeline generation without increasing headcount.
  • Manage Clay-powered enrichment and AI-personalized outreach across email and LinkedIn at scale.
  • Develop signal-based trigger workflows targeting key market events like funding rounds and competitor job postings.

Role Overview

We're at an inflection point. With our brand-new global USD product and Series A round behind us, we're ready to build a world-class revenue engine. This is not a role for someone who wants to optimize an existing playbook - and it is not a stepping stone to managing a team. We believe the future of outbound is agentic and AI-native, and we're building accordingly.

As a GTM Engineer on our team, you will design, build, and permanently own Conduit's AI-native outbound engine - a system that operates at scale through intelligence, not headcount. You'll own the full stack from ICP definition and signal identification to enrichment, personalized sequencing, and pipeline reporting. This is a senior IC role reporting directly to the CBO, with significant influence over how Conduit goes to market.

What You'll Do

  • Permanent Ownership. Design and build Conduit's outbound engine from zero - and own it permanently as a senior IC. This is not a build-and-hand-off role.
  • Agentic by Design. Build and operate AI-native, agentic workflows that scale pipeline generation without scaling headcount - the system is the team.
  • AI-Native Execution. Own Clay-powered enrichment and AI-personalized outreach at scale across email and LinkedIn.
  • Signal Intelligence. Build signal-based trigger workflows: YC batch launches, competitor job postings, funding rounds, treasury hiring signals.
  • ICP & Targeting. Define and continuously refine ICP across Conduit's target segments (Series A/B fintechs, embedded finance platforms, regional banks).
  • GTM Partnership. Collaborate with the CBO on messaging strategy, positioning, and launch campaigns tied to the USD API.
  • Pipeline Ownership. Own pipeline metrics end-to-end: outreach volume, reply rates, meetings booked, pipeline generated.


Qualifications

  • Experience. 5-10 years in B2B GTM, revenue operations, or growth - with a strong track record of building outbound from scratch at a high-growth tech company
  • Clay Expertise (Hard Requirement) Hands-on Clay power user. You've built multi-source enrichment waterfalls, AI-personalized sequences, and trigger-based workflows - not managed someone else who did
  • Tool Stack Expertise. Deep fluency in the modern outbound stack: Clay, Smartlead or Instantly, Apollo or ZoomInfo, HubSpot or Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • AI-First Mindset (Hard Requirement). Strong AI-first orientation - you use AI to write, enrich, personalize, and optimize at every layer of the outbound motion
  • Fintech Fluency. Background in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure strongly preferred - you understand the buyer, the language, and the competitive landscape
  • Writing Quality. Exceptional written communication - you write outbound copy that gets replies, not spam filters.
  • Systems Thinking. Analytical and systems-oriented - you think in workflows, test hypotheses, and optimize based on data
  • IC Orientation. Thrives as a senior IC - you're energized by owning a domain end-to-end and have no desire to climb into management
