Responsibilities

  • Serve as creative lead on one primary brand or multiple smaller brands/projects
  • Oversee and mentor Art Supervisors, Senior Art Directors, and Art Directors
  • Provide clear conceptual and visual direction aligned with brand strategy
  • Partner with copy counterparts to shape campaign platforms and integrated initiatives
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables within assigned brands
  • Review and approve work prior to senior leadership review and client presentation
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of scientific content and regulatory landscape
  • Balance hands-on creative contribution with oversight responsibilities
  • Contribute meaningfully to new business pitches and internal initiatives
  • Help forecast workload needs and flag resourcing challenges
  • Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and career development guidance to team members
  • Maintain team morale and model a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.

GROUP ART SUPERVISOR, ART
Creative Department
Reports to:SVP, Group Creative Director

Job Summary

The Group Art Supervisor is a senior team member who oversees multiple brands or significant portions of a large account while mentoring and elevating art talent across teams. They demonstrate advanced conceptual thinking, strategic fluency, and deep brand expertise. The Group Art Supervisor plays a critical role in translating high-level creative direction into cohesive, strategically sound work across projects and channels.

They partner closely with Associate Creative Directors and Creative Directors to ensure creative excellence, operational efficiency, and team development. They are highly trusted in client interactions and regulatory environments and are looked to as a cultural and creative standard-bearer within the department.

Key Job Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to all or some of the following)
