This is your chance to be part of a global team dedicated to empowering AstraZeneca to better serve patients every day. As a member of AstraZeneca's esteemed talent scouting team, the GTS will report to the Global Talent Scout & Capability Lead and play a pivotal role in developing strategic senior talent pools aligned with our business goals.

This role involves collaborating with business and HR leaders to devise internal and external talent search strategies, making a lasting impact on AstraZeneca's talent acquisition efforts.

What you'll do

  • Act as a strategic talent advisor to business and HR leaders, translating business needs into talent strategies informed by talent intelligence, market insights, and external benchmarking.


  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines through proactive scouting, market mapping, talent pooling, and long-term relationship building aligned to business priorities.


  • Partner with senior leaders and HR stakeholders to align on succession priorities, assessment criteria, and talent decisions.


  • Deliver executive-ready talent intelligence and market insights to inform workforce planning, succession discussions, and strategic talent investments.


  • Leverage digital sourcing technologies, AI-assisted tools, and external partners to deliver high-quality talent outcomes while ensuring an inclusive and exceptional candidate experience.


Essential for the role

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-8+ years' experience in executive search, talent scouting, senior talent acquisition, or related HR roles within complex, matrixed environments.


  • Proven delivery of diverse, high-quality talent pipelines and hiring outcomes.


  • Experience partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders, with strong influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.


  • Proficiency with talent sourcing technologies, ATS/CRM platforms (e.g., Eightfold, Workday), and digital scouting tools.


  • Experience managing external search partners and talent intelligence vendors.


Desirable for the role

  • Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, ideally in a global matrixed environment.


  • Strong understanding of talent markets and capability areas relevant to AstraZeneca's business priorities.


  • Experience applying external talent intelligence to workforce planning, succession, and talent development.


  • Multilingual capabilities

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $120,396.80 - 180,595.20 USD. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
