The Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer serves as the global domain expert for assigned Manufacturing Technologies and owns technology strategy, capability, and deployment across network. This role ensures that processes are scalable, capable, cost competitive, and aligned to business objectives.

Working with the Electrical Connections ISC Transformation Director, the Global Manufacturing Technology Engineer serves as a technical execution partner for global nVent WBT manufacturing transformation initiatives, ensuring that technology, processes, capacity, and production systems are developed and implemented to enable growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

• Serve as global domain expert for assigned manufacturing technologies
• Develop and implement manufacturing technology roadmaps
• Drive process capability improvements and manufacturing standardization
• Support capital planning and lead equipment technology selection and expenditure justification
• Lead automation and advanced manufacturing initiatives
• Partner with Engineering on DFM and NPI industrialization
• Lead and support manufacturing transfers, footprint optimization, and capacity expansion
• Deploy standard methodologies across global manufacturing sites
• Partner with Operations to improve manufacturing performance
• Support Product Engineering and NPI teams
• Collaborate with Quality on process capability and defect reduction
• Support ISC efficiency and network optimization objectives
• Participate in strategic growth and technology planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Operations, or related technical field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, operations engineering, automation, or technical project execution in a manufacturing environment.
• Domain expertise in key Electrical Connection manufacturing technologies and/or automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 knowledge.
• Solid understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Continuous Improvement preferred.
• Ability to influence globally across Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Planning, and Procurement.
• Experience with capacity planning and capital spend justification.
• Strong project management, execution, and change leadership capabilities.
• Experience with electrical connection products, nVent WBT products, or wire forming, welding, machine press, and assembly technologies preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 30-40%
