A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Global Commodity Manager for Office and Factory Supplies (OFS) and immerse yourself in a dynamic role where you drive commercial opportunities across all lifecycle stages. You'll analyze spend and contract data to propel Siemens Energy forward, crafting innovative plans to seize these opportunities. Your negotiation skills will shine as you engage with suppliers, ensuring targets are met. With a keen sense of business and partner needs, you'll play a pivotal role in satisfying demands and contributing to our mission. This will be a hybrid role, meaning 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Drive and align the development of a global commodity strategy for Office and Factory Supplies with our Business Process Outsourcing Partner.
  • Consult with senior management on strategies and risk avoidance, collaborating with procurement areas for world-class outcomes.
  • Partner with colleagues to implement category strategies, making valuable contributions aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Negotiate favorable contract terms and support procurement processes, from demand planning to supplier selection and development.
  • Monitor frame agreements to uncover commercial opportunities and support supplier relationship management to enhance performance and reduce costs.
What You Bring
  • Bachelores Degree or preferred master's degree in business administration, engineering, law or equivalent
  • 3+ years of professional experience in procurement
  • Excessive experience in developing commodity strategies and contracting within a large corporate environment
  • Expertise in Office and Factory Supply, particularly in areas like Tools & MRO, PPE, Office Supplies, and more.
  • Outstanding analytical and commercial skills, combined with a pragmatic way of thinking
  • Experience within category/commodity management is a big advantage
  • Profound contract and legal knowledge
  • Experience in working with a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Partner
