About the job

At the intersection of politics, technology and media, the YouTube Civics team engages with government officials, political campaigns, and political creators and publishers in driving adoption and understanding of the platform.

The Global Civics Partnerships Lead role is at the nexus of this work -- managing a team of Partner Managers, setting and overseeing the global strategy, and managing day-to-day operations.

The role is highly cross-functional and global in scope, and the ideal applicant is energized by a collaborative environment, where each day entails balancing projects, ongoing platform operations and coaching and development for the team.
As the Global Civics Partnerships Lead, you will drive YouTube's partnership efforts to demonstrate the platform's value as a destination for civic engagement and political discourse. From crafting initiatives that inspire and engage government entities to use YouTube to connect with their constituents, to helping political creators and publishers understand how the platform works, you will lead how YouTube supports a growing political ecosystem across a variety of viewpoints, formats, and types of creators.

You will manage a US-based team of Partner Managers and collaborate closely with team members around the world to develop and execute strategy.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$312,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
