Global Benefits Financing Sales Leader

This is a hybrid role (minimum of 3 days per week in the office) with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our New York, NY or Chicago, IL office.

What the day will look like

Lead the growth of Aon's North American Employee Benefits Financing business, with a focus on EB captive solutions and client engagement. This highly visible leadership role drives business development, market presence, and sales performance while serving as a key contributor to Aon's global EB Financing strategy. Working closely with North American and global colleagues, the leader will help deliver a seamless client experience and strengthen Aon's market-leading position.
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of EB financing prospects across the North American market with specific new business goals
  • Represent Aon at external events related to EB Financing and take the lead in articles, speaking opportunities and other EB financing related marketing activities
  • Play a leading and hands-on role in sales situations with prospects across North America where EB Financing is involved. These can be standalone or linked to broader Aon opportunities
  • Build strong and active relationships with Aon's Enterprise Client Group and other internal sales and account management teams within North America - be seen as the go-to person on the topic of EB Financing
  • Play a leading role in the delivery of feasibility studies with the support of the wider North American Global Benefits team
  • Be part of the leadership of our Global EB Financing Team and play an active role in all areas of developing our proposition - including the development of D&A solutions that support our advisory business
  • Build close relationships with other parts of Aon working on captive-related solutions including captive management, risk consulting and insurer relationships

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Proven experience in successfully implementing and managing EB financing strategies for multinational companies with hands-on reinsurance to captive experience
  • Track record of being involved in winning new business in the area of global EB financing
  • Good working knowledge of EB underwriting practices and cell captive structures
  • Strong relationships with the major global EB insurance networks
  • Experience of speaking at external marketing events and leading on internally set-up marketing events
  • Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of the wider global benefits area
  • Team player with focus on collaboration and personal as well as collective team development

Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $200,000 to $300,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
