Geotechnical Project Engineer - Construction is responsible for performing a variety of assignments that include evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria; using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications during work.

What you'll do:- Prepare preliminary geotechnical reports, scopes, budgets and schedules for projects as per specifications
- Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with client and project teams
- Work on one or multiple projects at a time
- May perform on-site observations or inspections

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:- Master's degree (MS) from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering
- 5 years' progressive experience in geotechnical consulting
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas or ability to obtain PE License within 6 months
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- May travel up to 15% of time
- Ability to read and understand work plans
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal & written communication
- Proficiency in engineering software in discipline (GeoStudio, LPILE, APILE, SHAFT, GROUP, SLIDE, Settle3D)
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:- PhD from an ABET accredited college or university in Geotechnical Engineering
- Experience with PLAXIS 2D and 3D
