Position Summary

The General Manager will serve as the daily operational leader across these concepts, responsible for delivering an exceptional guest, tenant, and client experience while driving financial performance, team development, and operational excellence. This is an ideal opportunity for a proven general manager who enjoys building strong teams, managing diverse service models, and creating hospitality experiences that elevate the workplace. We are seeking a leader with demonstrated success managing complex food and beverage operations, ideally with responsibility for $4 million or more in annual gross sales. The right candidate will bring strong financial acumen, a hands-on operational approach, and the ability to partner effectively with Porter leadership, property stakeholders, tenants, and corporate clients.

Financial Management
  • Full accountability for profit and loss performance
  • Ownership of revenue growth, cost controls, and margin management
  • Support of Budget development and forecasting
  • Financial reporting
  • Labor management across front-of-house and back-of-house teams


Operations Management
  • Oversight of daily operations
  • Leadership of both public-facing and tenant-only service models
  • Scheduling and workforce planning for front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Oversight and execution of in-office catering programs
  • Direct management of event execution from planning through delivery
  • Oversight of community programming initiatives within the building


Stakeholder Management
  • Primary relationship manager with property ownership
  • Primary operational liaison for Porter Hospitality
  • Direct relationship management with building tenants and end users
  • Ensure alignment between ownership objectives, tenant expectations, and operational performance

Leadership
  • Recruit, develop, and manage management and hourly teams
  • Drive accountability, service standards, and operational consistency
  • Foster a culture aligned with company values and performance expectations
