Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager located in Appleton, WI.

How you will contribute:

Bring your strong technical knowledge of energy management or HVAC control systems! The primary role of this position is promoting and driving owner direct controls project work, owner-direct projects and plan-and-spec estimates. Employ persuasion and negotiation skills to introduce a customer to Ahern's portfolio of service and construction offerings. This position requires contact with existing and potential customers by scheduling calls and following up on leads and increasing sales. The candidate will be able to utilize internal resources to execute service and project work while growing the controls business in the Southern Wisconsin region. Anticipating customers' needs and successfully advancing a sales strategy that meets client's expectations while continuing to develop and maintain positive, ongoing, customer relationships is required.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys building customer relationships and focusing on business growth. Ideal candidate should possess experience working with building automation related or energy management offerings, preferably some of which would be from a sales role. Candidate must be results driven, have excellent communication and customer service skills, proven leadership abilities, and strong planning and organizational skills. A demonstrated commitment to integrity, quality in business, and the ability to influence the market at key levels is necessary.
