Position Overview A market-leading equipment dealership is seeking a General Manager to lead its operations in Hawaii across sales, rentals, parts, and service. Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual will assume full responsibility for a multi-branch business serving the construction, infrastructure, agricultural, and industrial sectors. The role will oversee all core business functions with responsibility for operational performance, customer relationships, profitability, and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for a multi-location equipment dealership and rental business. Lead daily operations across equipment sales, rentals, parts, and service departments. Drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all branches. Manage and develop branch leadership teams and functional department managers. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and overall P&L performance. Develop and execute strategies to support continued rental fleet growth and aftermarket performance. Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers, OEM partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders. Support inventory management, logistics coordination, and operational planning across multiple locations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, and service delivery. Recruit, mentor, and develop leadership talent throughout the organization. Identify opportunities for market expansion, operational enhancement, and additional product line growth. Requirements 7+ years of senior leadership experience within equipment dealerships, industrial distribution, rental, trucking, material handling, power systems, or related industries. Proven experience managing multi-branch operations with full P&L responsibility. Strong background in equipment sales, rentals, parts, service, and aftermarket operations. Demonstrated ability to lead operational teams and drive business performance across multiple functions. Experience working within OEM/dealer distribution environments and managing manufacturer relationships. Strong commercial, operational, and financial acumen. Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. Bachelor's degree preferred, though equivalent industry leadership experience will also be considered.
