Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4- Food to join our food services team at LHP Mountainside Food located in Montclair, NJ.

As the General Manager of Healthcare, we are looking for a leader with experience working with hospital clients, managing hourly staff, experience with Patient Services and in room dining programs, and catering skills. As the General Manager you will need strong communication skills with both the staff and our clients. This account has 70 employees. In this role we would like someone with previous experience in healthcare. A CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) is a plus!! and proven success of working in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • working with unit financial/budgets,
  • strategic planning,
  • HR functions,
  • training and development of both a management and hourly staff,
  • ensuring HACCP compliance,
  • direct client interaction and supervision of 5 Sodexo managers and 55 union hourly client employees.
