Articus Solutions is seeking a General Engineer/Architect to provide construction engineering services for a wide range of projects at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ. Projects include new vertical construction, modifications to existing structures (buildings, hangars, warehouses, bunkers), training ranges, and runway/road renewal and construction. Responsibilities 34; Performs planning and design work for new construction and renovation projects. 34; Performs (O&M) engineering involving design and construction. 34; Responsible for the life cycle engineering of facilities and infrastructure of a military installation, to include associated systems and subsystems. 34; Monitors and manages projects for new construction, renovations, and improvements to real property facilities from start to finish, including the performance of pre-construction site surveys all the way to completion of as-built drawings. 34; Coordinates projects with other engineers and architects in a variety of disciplines, including community planners, programmers, as well as contracting officers, tenant organization representatives, and construction agents, such as from private contracting companies, the Army Corps of Engineers, the AF Civil Engineer Center, and the AF Installation Mission Support Center. 34; Prepares, develops, or reviews design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications related to a wide variety of projects and infrastructure systems, including airfields, roadways, site/area development, drainage, foundations, structures; transportation; drainage; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); fire suppression, control, and alarm systems; Industrial Internet Control Systems (IICS); electrical distribution systems; interior electrical systems; cathodic protection; airfield, street, parking and facility lighting and other systems of major size and complexity for use on a military installation, airfields, multi-story office buildings, large utility plants, hospitals, hangars, flight simulators, and similar structures. 34; Evaluate design objectives and identify the most economical and efficient procedures for building and utility design and performance, considering all functional and aesthetic requirements. 34; Contribute to the development of graphic presentations, construction documents, engineering studies, cost estimates, Gantt charts, and strategies to communicate with stakeholders. 34; Other duties as assigned.
