This posting will be used to fill a 3-year term position (until September 28th, 2029) working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will also be used to establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions.

This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the beautiful Yukon.

Who we are looking for

The Functional Analyst works as both an operations and project resource.

Operations activities include:
  • Managing service requests such as adding and removing users and scheduled tasks;
  • Managing incidents such as interruptions in service and software defects;
  • Managing problems such as re-occurring incidents and finding permanent solutions to workarounds;
  • Managing changes such as to configuration and software functionality.

Project activities include:
  • Working with the project team to design and configure software solutions;
  • Developing support resources such as user manuals, training videos, and standard operating procedures;
  • Developing function and integration test plans and executing test cases;
  • Delivering or participating in train the trainer sessions;
  • Working with the project team to transition project deliverables into operations.

  • A current ITIL v4 or v5 Foundations certification would be considered an asset.
