Position Description: The position requires someone onsite at our client site at either Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL five days a week.
CGI is looking for a Full Stack Java / Angular Dev Lead to join a high-impact modernization program for one of the top banks in the United States. This is an opportunity to lead the transformation of critical enterprise applications, helping modernize legacy platforms into scalable, secure solutions that support real business outcomes.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Develop backend Restful APIs, microservices and systems using Java, Springboot, Spring Data JPA, Spring/Quartz Scheduler
. Write queries for relational databases such as Oracle using SQL
. CI/CD and containerization using tools and platforms such as Docker, Openshift, Jenkins.
. Document customizations, configurations, and integrations for reference and support.
. Communication with client stakeholders and partners
. Ensuring that software meets or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
. Iterative development on an agile team.
. Mentoring other developers
. Communication with clients and different levels of the organization
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 8+ years' experience developing with Java
. 5+ years' experience developing with Angular
. 4+ years' experience writing basic Oracle and SQL
. 4+ years' experience with strong fundamental knowledge on java 8 & above along with frameworks such as Spring framework, Springboot, Spring Data JPA, Spring/Quartz Scheduler.
. Experience writing unit tests in using Jasmine, Karma, jUnit (junit 4/5) and Mockito framework.
. Knowledge of CI/CD using GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins etc
. Build tool experience preferably with Maven & Gradle
. Understanding of Agile development methodologies
. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
. Very strong verbal and written communication skills
. Strong ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies on the fly.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $156,700.00.
