Job SummaryThe Full Stack Developer is a technically proficient and enthusiastic developer with a strong focus on back-end application development. This role supports all phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, development, testing, and documentation. The developer will build new components in Java and maintain/enhance existing components in Java, Angular, and Python. The position requires promoting best practices in TDD, participating in agile ceremonies, collaborating with business stakeholders, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop new components in Java and maintain/enhance existing applications
- Support product lifecycle phases including analysis, development, and testing
- Promote best practices in TDD, tools, and technologies
- Participate in agile ceremonies and interact with business owners and stakeholders
- Gather requirements through direct interaction with front office business users
- Develop technical documentation including architecture diagrams and design documents
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to standards
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
- Mentor junior developers through guidance and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications- UI Development (Angular)
- 5+ years of hands-on Single Page Application development
- Experience designing and developing responsive, interactive UI components using Angular, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
- Ability to implement UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional interfaces
- Skilled in optimizing UI performance for fast page loads and smooth interactions
- Experience collaborating with designers to ensure design consistency
- Ability to develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries
Backend Development (Java)- 7+ years of hands-on backend development experience
- Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure backend services using Java, including RESTful APIs and microservices
- Experience with database schema design, data modeling, and migration strategies using relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Hibernate
- Ability to ensure backend services are highly available, scalable, and fault tolerant
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD
- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Loki, Jaeger, Grafana)
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, OOD, and design patterns
- Comfortable working in Unix environments with Apache/Tomcat web servers
- Knowledge of Sonar, Cypress, Fortify, Snyk, and other code coverage/testing tools
- Experience with automation testing tools (PyTest, JUnit, Postman Automation, PyUnit, Playwright, Mockito )
