Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We're looking for a talented and self-motivated
Full Stack Developer to join our team on a
6-month remote contract. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining both the
front-end and back-end of our web applications. This is a
contract position with the potential to extend based on performance and project needs.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop full stack web applications from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both client-side and server-side components
- Integrate APIs and third-party services
- Maintain and optimize existing applications for performance, scalability, and security
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices
- Deploy applications to cloud environments and troubleshoot production issues when needed
Requirements:- 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
- Solid experience with back-end languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby, and web frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Rails)
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Version control with Git/GitHub
- Experience deploying applications using cloud services (e.g., AWS, Heroku, Vercel)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
Nice to Have:- Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization (e.g., Docker)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
- Basic understanding of DevOps or serverless architectures
Contract Details:- Duration: 6 months with potential extension
- Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
- Location: Remote
- Rate: [$58 incorporated]
- Potential to extend based on performance and project pipeline
