FP&A Manager (Regional Finance Manager)

Position Overview

As an FP&A Manager at Modigent, you will lead financial planning and analysis for a regional business unit (currently the South Central Region with approximately $100M in revenue across multiple locations). Reporting to the VP of Finance and partnering closely with the Regional President, accounting, sales, and operations, you will own forecasting, performance analysis, three-statement modeling, and decision support. This role drives high-quality insights that inform senior leadership, board reporting, and growth initiatives, including acquisition evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly consolidation and analysis of regional financial results.
  • Prepare high-quality, timely performance analyses and commentary for senior management.
  • Own and maintain a three-statement financial model; lead the quarterly full-year forecast process.
  • Lead the 120-day rolling sales, revenue, and margin forecast.
  • Utilize Adaptive Insights (or similar planning software) to support planning, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Support senior management presentations to the Board and equity sponsor.
  • Provide financial support for regional growth initiatives, including analysis of potential acquisition targets.
  • Develop and refine policies, procedures, and reporting processes as needed.
  • Complete special projects and ad-hoc analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting, sales, operations, and regional leadership to ensure alignment and accurate forecasting.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None (individual contributor role with significant influence and cross-functional leadership). May provide guidance to junior finance or accounting team members as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis (FP&A) experience. Experience supporting multi-location or regional operations preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screen.
  • Physical Demands: Primarily office-based with occasional travel to regional locations or corporate meetings.
  • Work Environment/Safety: Professional corporate environment with hybrid options. This is not a safety-sensitive position.

Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or similar enterprise planning software.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial modeling, complex analysis, and reporting).
  • Strong ability to build and maintain three-statement models and rolling forecasts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present clearly to senior leadership.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy, thoroughness, and meeting deadlines.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $170,000 per year
