Job Summary
We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer with strong Java and full-stack development experience to lead the enterprise deployment, integration, and adoption of GenAI engineering tools, including Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering teams to integrate AI-powered development tools into enterprise SDLC workflows, improve developer productivity, and establish scalable best practices for AI-assisted software development.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the end-to-end deployment and enterprise rollout of Devin, Claude Code, and Cursor across engineering teams.
• Design and execute enterprise rollout strategies, including phased onboarding and scaling initiatives.
• Develop and integrate solutions into enterprise SDLC workflows, including CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, and APIs.
• Build and enhance full-stack applications and automation solutions using Java.
• Collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to optimize software delivery through effective use of GenAI tools.
• Conduct developer onboarding, training, and enablement sessions focused on AI-assisted development and prompt engineering best practices.
• Monitor adoption, usage, performance, and productivity metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues, optimize tool performance, and provide technical support to engineering teams.
• Develop reusable playbooks, standards, and best practices for enterprise GenAI adoption.
• Ensure AI tool integrations comply with organizational security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Identify adoption challenges and implement solutions to improve scalability, efficiency, and developer experience.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and full-stack application development.
• Experience deploying and scaling enterprise GenAI development tools such as Devin, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Experience integrating applications with CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, APIs, and enterprise SDLC workflows.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Experience conducting technical training and developer enablement sessions.
• Strong understanding of AI-assisted software development workflows and prompt engineering concepts.
• Experience monitoring application usage, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar source control and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs into enterprise applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools).
• Experience improving developer productivity through automation and AI-powered engineering solutions.
• Experience working in large enterprise or global engineering environments.
