Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience in software systems.
• 1+ years of customer-facing technical experience in roles such as solutions engineering or technical account management.
• Hands-on experience in web scraping or data extraction infrastructure.
• Proficient with scraping frameworks including Selenium, Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy.
• Familiar with techniques for evading bot detection and anti-scraping measures.
• Proven ability to manage or mentor engineering teams based on customer feedback.
• Background in working with data-focused clients such as investment analysts or data heads is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with key customers to identify and solve data extraction issues.
• Manage the end-to-end process for customer requests to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Lead a team of scraping engineers to develop and maintain data pipelines for clients.
• Provide feedback and context from customers to influence the product team’s development path.
• Establish and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer role as the company expands.
