Full Job Description
HIKE2 is looking for a skilled Flowable Engineer to design, develop, and maintain workflow automation and business process management (BPM) solutions using the Flowable platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to streamline processes, integrate enterprise systems, and deliver scalable workflow-driven applications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Flowable BPM, Java-based application development, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

What You'll Do
  • Design and implement business workflows using the Flowable BPMN engine
  • Develop and maintain BPMN, DMN, and CMMN process models
  • Build custom workflow applications and services using Java/Spring Boot
  • Integrate Flowable with enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms
  • Configure task management, approval flows, notifications, and escalation logic
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into workflow solutions
  • Troubleshoot workflow execution issues and optimize process performance
  • Develop automated tests and support CI/CD deployment pipelines
  • Maintain workflow documentation and technical specifications
  • Participate in architecture reviews and recommend BPM best practices


Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with Flowable BPM
  • Strong knowledge of:

  • Familiarity with identity and access management (OAuth2, SSO, LDAP)
  • Previous experience with Camunda, Activiti, or other BPM platforms
  • Agile/Scrum experience
  • React or Angular frontend experience
  • DevOps and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
  • Workflow analytics and monitoring
  • Low-code/no-code automation experience


The salary range for this position is: $135,000-$185,000k per year. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. This range is exclusive of any bonuses or commissions.
