What you'll do:

The Financial Systems Analyst supports the administration, optimization, and ongoing operation of the organization's Oracle Enterprise Performance Management platform, including Oracle EPBCS and Smart View. This role partners with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, ALM, IT, and other business stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate, timely, well controlled, and available for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and management decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of finance, accounting, systems, reporting, and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot financial data issues, support month-end forecasting activities, improve Smart View reporting, and help modernize financial systems processes.Oracle EPM / EPBCS Administration
  • Support the administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including EPBCS planning and reporting environments.
  • Maintain and validate metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, dashboards, reports, and business rules.
  • Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Assist with testing Oracle EPM monthly updates, enhancements, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Partner with Finance leadership and IT to support application security, access reviews, change management, and system governance.
Data Management, Loading and Reconciliation
  • Load, validate, reconcile, and certify financial and operational data in EPBCS for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting.
  • Support data integrations and recurring data feeds from Accounting, Treasury, ALM, HR, data warehouse, and other source systems.
  • Investigate data quality issues and reconcile differences between source systems, EPBCS, Smart View reports, and downstream reporting outputs.
  • Document key data flows, dependencies, control points, and recurring monthly processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual data preparation, validation, and reporting activities.
Smart View Reporting and End-User Support
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Smart View templates, reports, templates, ad hoc retrievals, and recurring analysis workbooks.
  • Train and support FP&A, Accounting, and business users on Smart View functionality, reporting standards, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot Smart View connection, retrieval, submission, formatting, and data refresh issues.
  • Create clear documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials for recurring financial systems processes.
FP&A and Financial Reporting Support
  • Support monthly forecast, annual budget, long-range planning, variance analysis, and executive reporting cycles.
  • Partner with FP&A teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
  • Assist with financial data analysis, trend analysis, and recurring management reporting packages.
  • Support close and forecasting deadlines by coordinating data readiness, resolving system issues, and communicating status to stakeholders.
  • Controls, Compliance and Process Improvement
  • Support SOX, audit, access management, data governance, and documentation requirements for financial systems processes.
  • Maintain process documentation and evidence for recurring close, forecast, budget, and reporting activities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, data accuracy, transparency, and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT, Oracle Support, vendors, and business partners to resolve system issues and improve finance technology capabilities.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting financial systems, FP&A processes, accounting systems, reporting platforms, or business intelligence tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, EPBCS or PBCS, Essbase, Oracle SmartView, planning applications, financial metadata, and business rules.
  • Experience using Oracle Smart View for reporting, data retrieval, ad hoc analysis, and data submission.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • MS or MBA preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, Oracle EPM certification, or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Experience in banking, FP&A, financial services, or a highly regulated environment preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle EDM, PCMCS, EPM Automate, Data Management, Data Integrations, Narrative Reporting, Power BI, SQL, automation tools, or data warehouse platforms preferred.
  • Experience documenting financial systems processes, internal controls, audit, system changes, and recurring operational procedures preferred.
