Full Job Description
Position Title: Financial Planner

The Financial Planner will provide comprehensive financial planning and client-facing advisory support for high-net-worth individuals and families, typically managing relationships of $500K-$1.5M+. This role will develop and implement personalized financial plans covering tax, retirement, estate, investment, and insurance strategies while partnering closely with Wealth Advisors to ensure recommendations are clearly communicated and properly executed.

The ideal candidate is a CFP professional with 5-8+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to translate complex financial strategies into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $155,000 / Year, DOE

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth clients based on their goals, financial circumstances, and long-term objectives
  • Advise on tax, retirement, estate, investment, and insurance planning strategies
  • Meet directly with clients to present financial plans, explain recommendations, and answer complex planning questions
  • Partner closely with Wealth Advisors to implement financial plans and deliver a coordinated client experience
  • Identify strategic planning opportunities, including Roth conversions, IRA strategies, and other tax-efficient solutions
  • Maintain detailed client records, planning documentation, and timely follow-up on recommendations and action items
  • Serve as a financial planning resource to advisors by providing guidance on tax laws, planning strategies, and evolving industry trends

Requirements

  • CFP designation required and maintained in good standing
  • 5-8+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience
  • Proven experience working directly with high-net-worth clients
  • Strong knowledge of tax, estate, investment, insurance, and retirement planning
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to clearly explain complex financial concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, fast-paced team
  • Commitment to fiduciary standards, professional ethics, and staying current on tax laws and financial planning trends
  • Clean U4 and ability to successfully complete required background screening
