About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Reporting Analyst to join a high-impact Finance team at a growing entertainment technology company. This role is critical in supporting financial reporting, enhancing data processing and analytics, and enabling decision-making across the organization.
Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the analyst will play a key role in improving core reporting processes while contributing to the development of a best-in-class FP&A function. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong analytical curiosity, and is motivated to grow into more advanced FP&A, systems, and analytics roles over time.
Responsibilities- Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages.
- Perform budget vs. actuals and variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary.
- Support the monthly close process in partnership with Accounting.
- Assist in preparing materials for executive leadership and board reporting.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including data collection, validation, template management, and consolidation of inputs.
- Maintain and update core financial models in Excel and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Track key business drivers and KPIs.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all reporting deliverables.
- Reconcile data across systems (ERP, SAC, and planning tools) and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain a "single source of truth" for financial metrics.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve turnaround time.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance process efficiency and analytics.
- Assist in automating reports, improving templates, and documenting processes with recommendations for enhancements.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to provide financial insights and ad hoc analysis.
- Collaborate with Data and Systems teams as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in a technology or entertainment/media company is preferred.
- Exposure to financial ERP systems and planning tools (e.g., SAC, SAP, Adaptive, Anaplan, Planful, or similar).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and AI-driven analytical tools is an asset.
- Understanding of technology and/or theatrical industry performance metrics is an asset.
- Demonstrated analytical rigor, ownership mindset, curiosity, adaptability, and ability to communicate financial insights clearly.
- Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a fast-changing environment.

Hiring Range :$75,599.00 - $108,000.00 (per year) Final pay within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and the geographic location of the role. Additional non-discretionary compensation may apply where eligible.
