Role Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial planning, reporting, and analytical needs of the business. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities, and the development of financial models to support new products, applications, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to partner cross-functionally to deliver financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze monthly financial results and prepare reporting packages for finance and business leadership.
  • Prepare and submit the monthly financial forecast for the division.
  • Support budgeting and long-range planning processes.
  • Complete department reviews and collaborate with business partners to develop meaningful forecasts for the programs.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate new products, applications, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support pricing, cost analysis, and profitability assessments for products, programs, and customer opportunities.
  • Manage spending associated with capital projects and ensure timely capitalization of assets.
  • Maintain and update documents related to controls and RCM's for the division.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, sales, operations, and accounting.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario planning, and decision support for leadership.
  • Continuously improve forecasting methodologies, planning tools, and reporting processes.


Experiences/Education - Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

The range for this position is $79,709.00 - $109,600.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
