Job Summary:
Provides leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) field operations for complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety requirements, and quality standards. Guides MEP field execution by applying advanced technical knowledge and judgment to resolve complex systems coordination and installation challenges without formal people management responsibilities. Coordinates across project teams, trade partners, and self-perform work to maintain workflow continuity and mitigate MEP-related risks. Influences project outcomes by identifying constructability improvements, sequencing efficiencies, and prefabrication opportunities specific to MEP systems. Contributes to continuous improvement by sharing MEP field insights and leading practices with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Leads day-to-day MEP field execution for assigned scopes of work on complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Coordinates with project managers, superintendents, MEP trade partners, and self-perform teams to resolve complex MEP systems and installation issues.
Guides MEP work sequencing, system integration, and site logistics to support efficient installation and commissioning activities.
Oversees implementation of safety plans and quality control measures specific to MEP operations, addressing elevated risks and escalating critical concerns as needed.
Reviews and validates MEP field documentation, including daily reports, look-ahead plans, and coordination logs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Identifies and supports integration of MEP prefabrication, modularization, and alternative installation strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
Provides informal mentorship and technical guidance to field team members and peers without assuming formal management/coaching responsibilities.

Education Qualifications:
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience:
7 years of experience in MEP field operations, MEP construction supervision, or a related field required.
Experience supporting complex projects with integrated MEP systems preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification within 6 months of hire required.
First Aid and CPR certification required.
