Advanced Electrical Services Supervisor

Ziegler CAT is seeking an experienced Advanced Electrical Services Supervisor to lead a team of technicians supporting customer electrical service needs across industrial, commercial, and utility environments. This role oversees electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and repair activities while ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

The supervisor provides technical leadership, manages daily service operations, supports customer relationships, and drives safety, performance, and team development. Success in this role requires strong electrical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, supervise, coach, and develop a team of Advanced Electrical Services Technicians
  • Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for electrical systems, including power distribution equipment, circuit breakers, protective relays, transfer switches, and related infrastructure
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely response, effective communication, and resolution of service-related issues
  • Coordinate service operations, technician scheduling, labor utilization, and resource allocation to meet customer expectations and business objectives
  • Manage electrical installation, upgrade, maintenance, and capital improvement projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Promote and enforce compliance with OSHA, NFPA, environmental, and company safety standards while fostering a proactive safety culture
  • Support workforce planning through recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives
  • Monitor operational performance, equipment reliability, and service quality while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with customers, engineers, contractors, operations teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver effective electrical solutions and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction


Qualifications
  • Associate degree or technical degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field strongly preferred; high school diploma/GED required
  • 5+ years of electrical industry experience preferred, with demonstrated expertise in electrical systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
  • 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital service management tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, and make sound operational decisions
  • Demonstrated commitment to developing high-performing teams and delivering outstanding customer service


Minimum Physical Requirements:
  • Lift/carry up to 10 lbs
  • Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, stair climbing, forward reaching, bin lift, fingering/grasping

The total compensation (base plus incentive) for this position is
$74,200.00 to $111,300.00
Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, and education. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
