Full Job Description
As an Investment Associate, you will play a crucial role across the full investment lifecycle: from sourcing opportunities and managing the deal pipeline to conducting due diligence, preparing investment memoranda, and supporting transactions through closing. You will also build your own network within the ecosystem and work closely with our portfolio companies to help drive value creation.

The role is primarily focused on North America, where you will play a key part in expanding and supporting our growing US portfolio
• You connect with entrepreneurs, investors and advisors to source new investment opportunities within the broader US food & beverage space.
• You monitor and research market trends across the US and globally.
• You manage and systemically track FF2032's deal pipeline.
• You lead key workstream throughout the investment process, including evaluating business performance, conducting competitive analysis, understanding underlying growth drivers.
• You prepare presentations and memos for the investment committee to support informed decision making throughout the investment cycle.
• You support FF2032's portfolio companies on a variety of strategic and operational initiatives, evaluate their performance, and report findings to the Investment Committee.
• You are able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (investors, business angels, advisors, ...).
• The Investment Director will guide and support you as you take on a key role in investing in innovative businesses addressing evolving consumer demands in health, nutrition, and convenience.

To succeed in this role, we believe you should have:
• A relevant Master's degree and 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in venture capital, M&A, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a related field.
• A good balance between a commercial mindset and an analytical and detail-oriented focus.
• Strong communication skills that allow you to build relationships with entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in an international context.
• A strong understanding of financial modeling and financial statements, combined with the ability to digest and synthesize large volumes of data.
• A critical mindset and a hands-on mentality with the drive to work autonomously in a complex environment.
• A passion for the food & beverage space, and ideally a network within the US Food & Beverage CPG ecosystem.
• Willingness to travel and scout trade shows, meet founders/companies in person and expand your US network.
