Qualifications

• Current California medical license required.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• Active DEA License necessary.
• Proficiency in English; medical Spanish preferred.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Primary Care Provider assigned to patients.
• Address immediate medical needs of patients.
• Conduct thorough medical evaluations including history, physical exams, and diagnostic studies.
• Create and maintain problem lists and treatment plans for patients.
• Initiate necessary treatment orders and procedures.
• Educate and counsel patients to foster healthy behaviors and prevent disease.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patients receive needed services.
