Deaconess Illinois Clinic is offering a
competitive guaranteed salary of $260,000 for a full-time Internal Medicine Physician, along with a
$50,000 sign-on bonus tied to a 5-year contract. Additional

Clinical Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including preventive services, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Perform routine physical exams, health screenings, immunizations, and preventive care services.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Perform minor in-office procedures and assist with more complex procedures as needed.
- Ensure continuity of care through follow-up visits and coordination with specialists.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and wellness strategies.
- Respond to urgent care needs and manage emergency situations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols.
Leadership & Management Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision, oversight, and support for Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs).
- Ensure advanced practice providers deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
- Mentor and collaborate with clinical staff to uphold strong standards of care and regulatory compliance.
- Foster a positive, team-focused environment that supports continuous professional development.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluations of clinical staff.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing patient care process enhancements.
