Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):Leads the development, alignment, and ongoing evolution of the integrated lifecycle strategy and long-range plan for assigned launched and near-launch brands
Serves as the senior matrix leader for the cross-functional Lifecycle Team, establishing the team’s vision, strategic context, priorities, decision framework, operating model, and measures of success
Creates shared ownership of the total product strategy across functions while maintaining clarity regarding functional roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and decision rights
Partners closely with Commercial and Medical Affairs leadership to connect annual brand and medical plans with the broader, multi-year lifecycle strategy
Ensures lifecycle decisions incorporate relevant patient, caregiver, healthcare professional, payer, scientific, clinical, regulatory, competitive, market, operational, and financial insights.
Identifies, evaluates, and prioritizes opportunities to maximize patient benefit and sustainable product value, which may include:
New indications or patient populations
Label expansion opportunities
New formulations, dosing approaches, routes of administration, or delivery systems
Clinical, medical, health economic, and real-world evidence generation
Product differentiation and competitive response strategies
Market access and reimbursement opportunities
Patient identification, treatment initiation, adherence, or persistence initiatives
Geographic expansion, strategic partnerships, or external innovation opportunities
Leads development of an integrated evidence strategy across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Real-World Evidence, Market Access, and Commercial to address the evolving needs of patients, healthcare professionals, payers, health systems, and other stakeholders
Brings commercial and medical perspectives into relevant clinical development, regulatory, evidence-generation, and product-development decisions while ensuring that activities remain consistent with applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Partners with Commercial Analytics, Forecasting, Finance, and functional leaders to develop business cases, evaluate strategic options, test key assumptions, assess value and risk, and recommend investment priorities
Translates the lifecycle strategy into an actionable roadmap with clearly defined objectives, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements, budgets, risks, and performance measures
Monitors brand performance, the treatment landscape, competitor activity, scientific developments, stakeholder needs, policy changes, and other external factors that may affect the lifecycle strategy
Maintains accountability for the quality, timeliness, and strategic coherence of integrated lifecycle recommendations and cross-functional deliverables
Establishes effective governance, communication, and escalation pathways to ensure that material opportunities, risks, decisions, and changes are visible to appropriate senior leaders
Communicates the lifecycle vision, priorities, progress, risks, and decisions clearly across functions and organizational levels, including executive leadership
Anticipates and addresses misalignment, unclear ownership, competing priorities, and team performance challenges before they affect program delivery
May lead, coach, and develop employees, contractors, program leaders, or project teams depending on organizational design
Partners with functional leaders to assess resource and capability requirements and to ensure that appropriate expertise is engaged at the right time based on the needs and maturity of the program
Influences without direct authority and develops trusted relationships across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Development, Regulatory, Market Access, Technical Operations, Finance, and other enterprise functions
Focuses the team on the highest-impact activities and balances inclusive cross-functional input with decisive leadership and timely decision-making
Leads the team in evaluating complex issues, developing scenarios, identifying strategic trade-offs, and preparing decision-ready recommendations for portfolio, executive, and other governance forums
Ensures lifecycle planning and related activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies and procedures

BS or BA degree AND 16+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience: Significant experience in commercial strategy, brand leadership, new-product planning, portfolio strategy, product development, or lifecycle management within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry OR
MA degree or MBA AND 14+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience OR
PharmD, PhD, MD AND 12+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical experience
Demonstrated experience with post-launch lifecycle planning, including identifying and advancing opportunities to sustain growth, strengthen differentiation, expand the evidence base, address evolving stakeholder needs, or extend product value
Experience contributing to or leading a pharmaceutical product launch and subsequent post-launch strategy is strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary teams in a matrixed organization and deliver results through influence rather than direct authority
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercialization, including brand strategy, market development, forecasting, competitive strategy, market access, evidence needs, and performance measurement
Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Medical Affairs and an understanding of medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communications, field medical, HEOR, and real-world evidence
Broad understanding of the drug-development and commercialization process, including Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, product development, manufacturing and supply, launch readiness, and post-approval lifecycle management
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience evaluating business opportunities, investment requirements, forecast assumptions, strategic trade-offs, risks, and potential value
Proven ability to integrate scientific, clinical, market, patient, payer, competitive, operational, and financial information into clear strategic recommendations
Demonstrated success identifying and prioritizing lifecycle opportunities such as new indications, populations, formulations, evidence programs, access strategies, delivery approaches, or strategic partnerships
Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex issues, scenarios, risks, and recommendations clearly and succinctly to senior leadership and governance bodies
Demonstrated ability to establish clear accountability, address performance or alignment issues directly, and create a productive environment for constructive debate and decision-making
Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements governing pharmaceutical development, Medical Affairs activities, product promotion, scientific exchange, and interactions with external stakeholders
Ability to operate successfully in a complex, evolving organization while managing multiple priorities and maintaining an enterprise perspective
Direct experience developing or leading strategy for at least one launched pharmaceutical or biotechnology brand is required

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $227,000.00-$398,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
