Position Summary:

The Executive Director, Reblozyl Marketing Brand Lead reports directly to the Vice President, Reblozyl & Lymphoma Marketing and serves as the U.S. brand leader for Reblozyl.  This leader will also have Global (ex-US) responsibility for the brand including lifecycle management. This individual is accountable for driving brand performance across approved indications while shaping future growth opportunities through lifecycle management, customer engagement, and execution excellence.

The Executive Director will lead the development and execution of the U.S. Reblozyl brand strategy, ensuring strong commercial performance and alignment across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, Finance, Analytics, and other key functions. This individual will lead a high-performing marketing team and be responsible for translating strategic objectives into impactful customer-facing initiatives that drive patient and business outcomes.

This role requires a highly strategic and collaborative leader who can navigate a complex matrix environment, influence senior stakeholders, and effectively balance near-term execution with long-term growth planning. The Executive Director will play a key leadership role within the Hematology and Oncology Marketing organization and will serve as a trusted partner to the VP, Reblozyl & Lymphoma Marketing.

The Executive Director serves as the day-to-day U.S. business leader for Reblozyl, accountable for brand performance and execution, while partnering closely with the Vice President, Reblozyl & Lymphoma Marketing on portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, and enterprise leadership initiatives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of the U.S. Reblozyl brand strategy across all approved and future indications.

  • Own brand performance, market growth, and achievement of commercial objectives.

  • Develop annual brand plans, operating plans, and resource allocation strategies aligned with business priorities.

  • Drive positioning, messaging, promotional strategy, customer engagement, and omnichannel execution.

  • Ensure disciplined execution against brand objectives, KPIs, and performance milestones.

  • Provide strategic marketing leadership for global Reblozyl commercialization, with a focus on:

    • ExU.S. launch and expansion strategies

    • Lifecycle management planning

    • Indication sequencing and prioritization

  • Actively participate in Global Product Team (GPT) and related governance bodies, ensuring strong integration between global strategy and U.S. insights.

  • Partner with Global Commercial, Medical, and Development teams to shape longterm brand vision, evidence strategies, and global value narratives.

  • Translate U.S. market learnings into global best practices and inform regional strategies.

  • Lead the Reblozyl cross-functional business team, aligning stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Analytics, Finance, Regulatory, Legal, and Commercial Operations.]

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to maximize field effectiveness, customer engagement, and commercial execution.

  • Serve as the senior marketing leader for Reblozyl in governance forums, POAs, business reviews, and leadership meetings.

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing organization while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, inclusion, and collaboration.

  • Recruit, coach, and develop talent, ensuring strong succession planning and organizational capability building.

  • Deliver strategic recommendations and business updates to senior Oncology and Commercial leadership while contributing to broader organizational priorities and enterprise initiatives

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in biopharmaceutical marketing, including senior leadership roles.

  • Proven track record leading large brands or portfolios in Oncology or specialty therapeutics.

  • Direct experience with product launches, lifecycle management, and latestage pipeline assets.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global organizations.

  • Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and ability to influence at the most senior levels.

  • Experience navigating complex market access and reimbursement environments.

  • Experience spanning both U.S. commercialization and global brand strategy (preferred)

  • Prior leadership of hematology or lymphoma brands (preferred)

Compensation Overview:

$239,080 - $289,708

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employees work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)

  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown. 

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.

On-site Protocol

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
