Full Job Description
As one of our Hybrid Sales Specialist, you will be partnering with our sales teams to meet with clients both virtually and in-person to further the sales discussion and act as a subject matter expert on Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) and Exchange Traded Funds (ETF). The Hybrid Sales Specialist role will be based in Capital Group's New York office and also require 60-75% travel. You will be responsible for delivering point of sale expertise in representing Capital Group/American Funds' SMA and ETF strategies to financial advisors.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for Regional Sales Office and Hybrid Sales teams, driving advisor meeting coordination and expanding ETF/SMA adoption.
You will lead internal and external communication and education initiatives on Capital Group's tax-efficient vehicles, ensuring sales teams are well-equipped with product knowledge.
You will represent Capital Group's tax-efficient business at conferences, firm events, and internal programs in partnership with broader sales teams.
You will act as the voice of the field, partnering with Product and Marketing teams to deliver insights and support new material development.
You will leverage 3-5 years of internal or hybrid wholesaling experience and ETF/SMA experience, along with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills (CFA, CIMA, CETF, or CFP preferred).
You must hold a SIE, Series 7 & 66 to apply
Base Salary: $105,459 - $168,734

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
