Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Environmental Sustainability Manager.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

Position Overview:
The Environmental Sustainability & Strategy Manager plays a key role in operationalizing Eaton's enterprise sustainability strategy by translating data-driven insights into execution across our global footprint. This role enables scalable systems and processes, supports external disclosures, and aligns cross-functional teams to achieve climate and sustainability goals.
Operating at the intersection of strategy, data systems, and site-level execution, this position partners with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement and continuously improve sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate brings expertise in ESG strategy, GHG accounting, and enterprise transformation, and a strong commitment to advancing Eaton's sustainability leadership. This role also contributes to strategy refinement by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that inform enterprise priorities and investments.
What you'll do:Sustainability Data & Systems:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of assigned enterprise sustainability data domains
- Support integration, optimization, and performance of sustainability data platforms
- Partner with IT and vendors to enable reliable, scalable data flows and system functionality
- Leverage analytics, scenario modeling, and benchmarking to inform executive decision-making
- Translate enterprise sustainability data into insights that inform business strategy, capital allocation, and climate transition planning
Reporting and Disclosures:
- Lead CDP submission and support ESG disclosures (e.g., CSRD, TCFD)
- Track and communicate progress toward climate-related sustainability goals
- Support executive and investor-facing reporting
- Support positioning of sustainability performance in investor and stakeholder narratives by translating technical data into strategic insights
Standard Development & Data Governance:
- Translate strategy into actionable guidance for sites and business units
- Develop and implement enterprise-wide standards and standard operating procedures for climate data
- Ensure cross-regional alignment and consistent adoption
- Maintain governance frameworks and controls aligned with regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities to enhance enterprise sustainability capabilities through process innovation, digital enablement, and cross-functional alignment
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventory & Methodology:
- Support and continuously improve GHG inventory processes
- Provide guidance on Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting methodologies
- Support assurance activities, audits, and external partnerships
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and controls for external verification
- Utilize scenario analysis and benchmarking to assess performance gaps and inform mitigation strategies
Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in sustainability or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years managing corporate GHG inventory
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience translating ESG data and regulatory requirements into business strategy and operational priorities
- Familiarity with climate scenario analysis, transition planning, or enterprise risk integration
- Experience with CSRD, CDP, TCFD, SASB, EcoVadis, and other emerging reporting standards.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional process improvement initiatives across global teams
- Strong data analysis and enterprise systems capabilities
- Demonstrated project management skills
