Full Job Description
The Environmental Manager performs and participates in procedures and programs to minimize environmental risks and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by performing the following duties:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Completes all tasks associated with air and water permitting, waste management and environmental compliance
  • Comfortable working with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with permit requirements
  • Must be able to research, read, and understand federal, state, and local regulations
  • Works with minimal supervision
  • Performs facility audits, inspections, and training
  • Implements procedures as needed for compliance
  • Accurate and timely reporting
  • May be responsible for environmental projects at plant location
  • Travel to industrial plant locations in the US approximately twice per month.
