Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software solutions across the full application lifecycle. Provides comprehensive technical expertise, contributes to coding standards and best practices, and offers guidance to team members. Develops scalable, secure, and high-performing applications that support organizational goals. Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Contributes to improvements in development processes, system resiliency, and overall service quality.
Essential Functions
• Handles software development assignments from planning and analysis through implementation and maintenance with minimal guidance.
• Designs client-server, cloud-based, and web applications leveraging modern frameworks and established practices.
• Develops and supports applications using ASP.NET, C#, PHP (Drupal), and related technologies.
• Creates and optimizes SQL database schemas and integrates APIs for system interoperability.
• Provides technical guidance by sharing knowledge, reviewing code, and recommending adherence to standards.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide input on estimates, and align solutions with business needs.
• Ensures application reliability through testing, error handling, and performance optimization.
• Recommends improvements to processes that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Contributes expertise to solution design and assists in resolving complex technical issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Experience Requirement: 5+ years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
