ENTERPRISE SALES DIRECTOR, CANADA

The Starlink Enterprise Sales team is hiring a senior, entrepreneurial leader to build and own the full go-to-market strategy for Starlink across Canada. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish Starlink's enterprise presence in the Canadian market from the ground up. Starlink brings an unprecedented opportunity to deliver high-performance connectivity to Canada's largest enterprises, critical infrastructure, and organizations.

This highly senior Director role will have full revenue responsibility for Starlink and Connectivity solutions in Canada. The primary focus is Top Fortune / large enterprise business, followed by SLED and government opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise working with Canada's largest enterprise organizations and ecosystems, building robust channel ecosystems, and establishing high-level relationships with leading Canadian enterprises. You will build the strategy, the team, the partnerships, and the revenue engine.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build and own the complete go-to-market strategy for Starlink Enterprise in Canada from scratch, with primary focus on large enterprise and Top Fortune accounts, followed by SLED and government
  • Own full revenue responsibility for Starlink and Connectivity solutions across the Canadian market
  • Establish and scale strategic relationships with Canada's largest enterprise organizations, key ecosystems, and channel partners
  • Build a robust multi-tier channel and partner ecosystem to accelerate market coverage and growth
  • Identify, develop, and close large opportunities with Canada's top enterprises, while also pursuing high-value civil, provincial, municipal, education, and broader government opportunities as a secondary priority
  • Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing Canadian sales and channel team
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets by identifying high-impact opportunities and closing complex deals
  • Develop, champion, and defend alternative go-to-market and partnership strategies internally
  • Partner closely with market access, government affairs, finance, legal, product, and engineering teams
  • Gather market and customer requirements and collaborate with product and engineering to shape Starlink offerings for the Canadian enterprise market
  • Represent Starlink at key Canadian industry, enterprise, and government conferences and events

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, business development, or sales leadership (ideally with significant Canadian market experience)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Proven track record of building a market, GTM strategy, and sales/channel organization from the ground up
  • Deep existing relationships and experience working with Canada's largest enterprise organizations and ecosystems
  • Strong expertise building and scaling robust channel and partner ecosystems
  • Extensive experience selling complex technology or connectivity solutions into large enterprise / Top Fortune accounts
  • Experience with Canadian government, provincial/municipal, and education (SLED) sectors as a secondary strength
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with high autonomy and full revenue ownership of a regional business
  • Strong sales track record with consistent achievement of ambitious revenue targets, preferably in satellite, telecommunications, connectivity, or technology solutions
  • Independently motivated self-starter with exceptional ownership mentality and the ability to build structure in ambiguous environments
  • Outstanding interpersonal, executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills across business and technical issues
  • Highly detail-oriented, resilient, and results-driven with excellent customer and partner interface skills
  • Working knowledge of Starlink's network infrastructure (or ability to rapidly develop it) sufficient to communicate value to sophisticated enterprise customers and partners
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex external relationships

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50%+) across Canada to customer and partner locations, as well as to other SpaceX sites as required
  • Preference for candidates based in Canada or with strong willingness to relocate
