Position Overview
This role is responsible for shaping the long-term technology vision and enterprise architecture strategy. This role drives innovation at scale, influences industry direction, and ensures architectural integrity across all platforms and programs. This role partners with executive leadership to define technology investments, sets global standards, and leads transformative initiatives that position the organization as a leader in its domain.

What You'll Do:
  • Define and communicate the organization's multi-year technology strategy and architecture roadmap.
  • Establish global architecture principles, standards, and governance models.
  • Advise C-suite and senior leadership on technology trends, risks, and strategic opportunities.
  • Influence business strategy through technology innovation and architectural foresight.
  • Drive thought leadership and contribute to industry best practices.
  • Lead enterprise-wide adoption of emerging technologies and modern architecture paradigms.
  • Sponsor and oversee high-impact proof-of-concepts and strategic technology investments.
  • Mentor senior architects and engineering leaders, building a strong architecture community.
  • Shape organizational capability in architecture and technology leadership.


What You'll Bring to Zelis:
  • Typically has Masters +15 yrs, PhD/ MD +10; Demonstrated accomplishment internally and externally; Has followership in subject matter area; Attends company training and regional training in area of expertise. Presents own work to members of department and external consultants and external professional societies. Often published in high quality publications and media opportunities.
  • Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents.
  • Proven track record of influencing technology strategy at organizational or industry scale.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, security, and data platforms.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into enterprise ecosystems.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range
$169,000.00 - $213,750.00

The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
