Enterprise Architecture Expertise
• Framework Knowledge: TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks.
• Architecture Domains: Business, Data, Application, and Technology architecture.
• Architecture Strategy: Develop and execute EA strategy for the enterprise.
Governance and Compliance
• Decision Rights Management: Clear delineation of responsibilities between central and domain teams.
• Policy Development: Creating reusable guidelines and guardrails.
• Regulatory Awareness: Banking regulations (e.g., FFIEC, GDPR, SOX).
• Architecture Governance: Ability to define and enforce standards across federated units.
• Risk Management: Identifying architectural risks and ensuring compliance.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Influencing Skills: Driving alignment across multiple business units.
• Conflict Resolution: Handling competing priorities between central and federated teams.
• Collaboration and Communication: Translating technical concepts for executives and business leaders.
Accountable for:
• Reviewing solution architectures
• Enforcing standards and patterns
• Granting conditional approvals, recommending variances for standardization
• Solution architecture design
• Applying enterprise standards and patterns
• Raising variances when needed

Job Description- Manages the research, strategic development, and implementation of an enterprise-wide architecture for data, applications, businesses and technologies.
- Develops and assesses the strategies of enterprise architecture and roadmaps development.
- Leads IT research and development groups that design business application architecture, data and technologies, for multiple departments and platforms.
- Makes recommendations, gains approval, and develops implementation strategies for new technologies.
- Evaluates and recommends product selection to ensure that organizational goals for security, reliability, and performance are achieved.

Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
