Must Have Technical/Functional Skills - 15+ years of experience large scale modernization programs, large-scale integration platform modernization program, migrating from TIBCO middleware or other ESB Platforms to AWS cloud-native architecture
- Define the end-to-end target architecture for migration from TIBCO to AWS, covering: Integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, batch, file-based, orchestration), Application modernization strategy, Data architecture (transactional + analytical), Platform and infrastructure architecture
- Define architecture principles, standards, and guardrails for cloud-native development.
- Design the wave-based migration strategy (aligned to wave / multi-pattern approach).
- Co-existence between TIBCO and AWS during migration
- Define cutover strategy: Dual-run / shadowing approach, Zero-downtime migration, Rollback mechanisms
- Ensure architecture meets: High throughput and low latency requirements, Horizontal scalability, Fault tolerance and resiliency
- Experience in AWS services like Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge, SNS, Step function, EKS, S3 etc.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to: Migration complexity, Dependency management, Performance bottlenecks, Data integrity
- Define contingency plans for: Rollbacks, Failure scenarios. Ensure production readiness across all waves.
Roles & Responsibilities - The Enterprise Architect will define the target-state architecture, transformation roadmap, modernization patterns, governance standards, and ensure alignment across business, application, data, integration, and infrastructure layers
- The EA will play a critical role in ensuring high performance, low latency, scalability, and resilience for systems handling high-volume data and event processing.
- Drives AI-assisted engineering adoption (Cursor AI, Kiro or GitHub Copilot) to accelerate migration, standardize implementations, and optimize delivery at scale
- Drive governance, federation, security, and compliance frameworks
- Lead POCs and architectural validations for critical requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into solution design
- Guide engineering teams on best practices and platform optimization
