Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to support Nextest internal systems across all product lines. This role provides hands-on support for test systems, troubleshooting, and sustaining high-performance standards for engineering and NPI pilot-line operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while partnering across engineering, production, IT, and external vendors to keep systems running at peak performance.

  • Provide technical support for Nextest internal test systems and testcells across all product lines.
  • Support remote engineers by providing internal test system assistance and issue resolution.
  • Conduct routine maintenance, upgrades, and calibration of test systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functionality of critical hardware.
  • Identify and resolve hardware and software issues in test systems using logs and performance data.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to support system integration and functionality.
  • Liaise with vendors and external partners as needed to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain detailed technical records and update documentation to support knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Adhere to and help enforce ESD safety practices to protect sensitive equipment.

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $$74,100 - $110,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
