What this job involves: This role leads ongoing facility activities and oversees vendors while maintaining overall responsibility for the operational integrity and reliability of engineering infrastructure across assigned facilities. The ideal candidate combines strong customer-service instincts with an outgoing, friendly, and collaborative approach to facility management.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:• Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting safe work practices, ensuring timely training completion, and driving best practices for safe behavior • Oversee implementation of approved initiatives and programs by managing and coordinating property team efforts including vendors, contractors, and facility employees
• Maintain interface with third-party vendors, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate reporting, and timely issue resolution
• Generate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP), maintaining document libraries with annual reviews and revisions
• Interact with clients, JLL team members, suppliers, consultants, and vendors on facilities and property matters
• Oversee projects and initiatives to improve facilities operations and service delivery
• Ensure resources are allocated appropriately and work orders are completed in a timely manner
• Plan and oversee maintenance shutdowns for each facility, coordinating site personnel, vendors, and third-party contractors
• Utilize data to develop trends and insights that drive continuous improvement in site performance
Desired experience and technical skills:Requirements:• 10 years' experience in facilities or the trades
• Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations
• Capability to work on highly complex problems requiring analysis and rational judgment
• Experience with CMMS/work order platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision • Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to travel to VT, NH, RI, ME, MA, CT, and NY State
Preferred:• Proficiency with HVAC/VRF, Mechanical and Electrical processes and troubleshooting (Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Air Conditioning, Pumps, Generators, UPS, etc.)
• Strategic thinking with strong implementation skills • Excellent presentation skills
• Experience ensuring regulatory compliance with local jurisdictions

Estimated compensation for this position:137,000.00 - 157,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
