You will contribute directly to FastCompliance, our next-generation self-service platform, leveraging generative AI (including chat and code generation) to advocate shift-left initiatives and streamline on-boarding. We are looking for a collaborative leader familiar with Google infrastructure who can apply generative AI to deliver stable, predictable outcomes alongside partners Google-wide. Responsibilities • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of 8 engineers, setting the technical direction and fostering a collaborative culture focused on data residency and compliance. • Oversee the architecture and optimization of high-throughput batch pipelines capable of scanning hundreds of billions of objects daily, ensuring maximum coverage and violation blocking with a minimal resource footprint. • Drive the integration of generative AI into the software development lifecycle (including design reviews, code reviews, and code generation) to proactively catch compliance issues early. • Own the end-to-end automation, policy verification, and governance of GCP regional and multi-regional endpoints, utilizing generative AI to streamline service turn-up. • Design generalized, resilient architectural solutions that simplify and accelerate compliance onboarding for the GCP producer teams, successfully balancing standard frameworks with service-specific exceptions.
