Engineering - Integration and Test Engineer | Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States [About the Role] Join Lockheed Martin as a Level 4 Integration and Test Engineer in Virginia Beach, VA. This onsite, temporary position offers a unique opportunity to lead advanced testing and integration efforts for next-generation defense systems. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with top engineering talent in a collaborative environment and contribute to mission-critical projects with cutting-edge technology. The role is full-time, in-person, and expected to last 12-18 months. [Responsibilities] - Develop comprehensive test plans and execute test cases for complex systems. - Install, configure, and validate software components across Windows and Linux platforms. - Collaborate closely with software developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to resolve system issues. - Document, track, and report software defects with clarity and precision. - Conduct database validation using PostgreSQL and perform basic SQL queries. - Perform front-end testing of Web UIs to ensure robust user experience. [Required Skills and Experience] - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience). - 10+ years of experience in systems integration or test engineering within a defense or aerospace setting. - Expertise in Windows and Linux cross-platform test execution. - Hands-on experience testing micro-service architectures. - Proficiency in database validation using PostgreSQL and SQL. - Experience conducting frontend testing of web user interfaces. [Preferred Skills] - CompTIA Security+ certification. - Background in US Navy training systems. - Familiarity with Navy and DOD modeling and simulation tools (JSAF, JAWS, JBUS). - Proficiency with VMWare and virtualized environments. - Experience with Agile methodologies using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
