This role is required ONSITE at PODS corporate center in Clearwater, FL (Monday - Thursday, Friday Remote.) In-office presence is important for cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment. When people are together in the same space, they are more likely to build relationships, share ideas, and solve problems together.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for design and development of new applications or enhancements to current applications. Perform as technical lead on projects of moderate to high complexity that impact multiple departments, systems, or work flows. In addition, function as mentor to those on the team who need assistance in growing their skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform technical design and lead technical design teams for new applications or enhancements to current applications
• Perform development of new applications or enhancements to current applications
• Lead technical teams through development efforts, including assigning tasks, monitoring development efforts, and performing code reviews
• Participate in performance appraisals and disciplinary actions for Software Engineers, in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Software Development.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of existing applications
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
