Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                            Contribute to a team responsible for developing data platforms software on Unix operating system, using SQL Server and Oracle databases; develop reports using Tableau; perform data ingesting and processing using Informatica; work with large datasets of at least 10 TB (terabytes); develop large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata; manage the storage and processing of data using cloud technologies including Hadoop and Spark; provide a path to customer support for all Big Data systems by identifying opportunities to integrate, automate and optimize various aspect of data and reliability engineering areas; build interactive data visualization dashboards with existing and newly developed KPI/Metrics; create seamless integrations across various platforms, including Service Now, Jira, and MS Teams; monitor end user support and facilitate communication across work streams to measure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution; establish observability to measure metrics, traces, and logs; create observability dashboard and service level objectives (SLOs) in order to proactively avoid incidents in the environment; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; and conduct analysis to determine integration needs. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:            Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing data pipeline software on Unix operating system, using SQL Server and Oracle databases; developing reports using Tableau; performing data ingesting and processing using Informatica; working with large datasets of at least 10 TB (terabytes); of which one (1) year includes developing large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata; and managing the storage and processing of data using cloud technologies including Hadoop and Spark
